- The Citadel | Mushroom Island
- Worked through a few ideas for a symbol/logo for the command center.
- Tried to make it work with the general shape, and angles used in the design of the command center. Avoided using letters, and tried to maintain a “space vibe” in a grid of 11×7 blocks
- Worked on some design ideas for the foundation of the command center midsection, and toyed around with ground texture.
- Copied the pulsing light design around to other midsections. Syncing them will be hard, but ideas are percolating.
- Currently doing some A/B testing with vents, and block choices.

- Toying around with making the ground around the command center look like the grid from Tron.

- Putting the redstone on pause, and returning to other projects.
- The first port of call is probably zombifying, and curing all of the villagers in the trading hall, mostly to cut down on the amount of resources being spent to get emeralds.
- After that there are plans for a witch farm, shulker farm, and a gold farm. The Gold farm poses some interesting choices, and challenges when it comes to planning, and execution from a Survival Guide perspective.

SUBJECT: Wood Texture Varieties
Hey Jonny, and Joel!
Long-time listener popping back in to Chunk Mail.
You’ve mentioned the idea of having another villager type like a woodworker numerous times. When you were discussing your opinions on the new poplar trap door textures in Episode 404, I thought it would be cool if Minecraft offered a way for players to choose the texture for any wood type when crafting it.
For example, with a woodworker villager’s station (Like a workbench, or table saw, etc.) you could put in planks of whatever wood type you want, and then select the texture you want that wood to be. If you wanted spruce colored planks with the birch texture, you could do that. I don’t think this would be particularly difficult to implement, although I’m not a game designer so it’s probably much more in depth than I think.
Would love to know what you think about this!
