- Nether spawn is in thick Nether wastes, and central to most biomes. It’s mostly solid which means very few ghasts, but with the trade off is a lot of digging.
- The basalt delta is also mostly buried, which should help with the spawn rates for the froglight farm.

SUBJECT: Sextants And Constellations
Hey Jonny and Joel!
I was listening to Episode 415 where you guys were talking about ways to move features of the debug screen out of the debug screen, and came up with the idea of a sextant.
Sextants are used in real life to calculate your latitude and longitude based on the position of the stars. Holding a sextant in your hand in Minecraft could list your coordinates above your hotbar like MiniHud does. A bit of creative license or potentially some restrictions would have to be used, as stars can’t be seen during the day, and obviously can’t be seen in caves, but I think this could be a fun way of making using coordinates slightly more immersive than they are in the debug screen.
This could also be a good excuse to update the night sky by adding constellations and shooting stars, as well as more subtle stars and potentially galaxies that could only be seen while using a spyglass.
CamoDude2187 got blown up by a creeper because he spent too long stargazing.

SUBJECT: Photo Similar Building
Hi, Pix and Joel!
With all the new concrete stairs and slabs coming out I thought I’d step out of my comfort zone, and actually try to build myself a decent base in my survival world. I’m trying to build a Minecraft survival base inspired by LEGO Classic Space. I have some concept art, but I’m struggling to translate the shapes, and details into blocks.
What tips do you have for taking a 2D image or art piece and translating it accurately into Minecraft?
Thanks and keep up the great work!
