I am wondering what features do you think may be added to the Happy Ghast?

Some of the things that I thought of / wonder about are:

  • Ghast Armor
    • Since the announcement I have heard the community talking about air combat, and I wonder if like dogs, and horses, we will see Ghast Armor.
    • Though the idea or Ghasts in The Nether spawning with armor sounds less than ideal.
  •  Armor Trim
    • If we add armor to the Happy Ghast that means we could have armor trim, and with the Happy Ghast being such a big canvas it could look very cool.
  • Ghast with a Chest
    • As a form of transportation with multiple ‘seats’ I wonder if, like boats, we will be able to replace some of those seats with chests.
    • The use of the Happy Ghast for builders has been pointed out, but what if it also could have your storage of the materials you are working with up there with you?
    • Single player adventurers could use it as a mobile base. While three chests aren’t enough for most storage systems, with shulker boxes it could be a lot.
  • Ghast Saddle Bags
    • What if we could use some bundles to craft saddle bags?

Brian floated off into the sunset with all of his items tucked away in his Ghast Saddle Bags.

SUBJECT: Updating Mobs

Hey Pix and Joel,

After the wolf, pig, cow, and chicken variants, and the ghastling and happy ghast I am curious as to what other mobs may be getting attention. I personally would love to see some more of the classic mobs get some new uses, and renewed purpose.

What if you could tame a bunny, and they could give a jump boost when they get fed? What if you could attach a cart to a horse, and you could put chests in the cart so you could carry around so much more stuff?

What are some mobs you think could, or should be getting looked at? What changes do you think will be made to them?

Love the podcast!

Happy Ghasts: A Change In Perspective

The Chasing The Skies drop is imminent, and with it the happy ghast is primed for take off. Jonny, and Joel brainstorm ideas on how they expect the happy ghast to change their approach to their Minecraft worlds? What kinds of builds complement the happy ghast? How do they plan to use it as a tool? What Minecraft mini-games does it inspire?
