SUBJECT: A Minecraft Music Show

Dear Jonny, and Joel,

In the episode with Eloise (Hope you’re feeling better by now, Joel!), one of the topics of discussion was in what other ways could Mojang bring new Minecraft experiences to the fan-base.

With the new soundtrack changes for the summer drop, I remembered that at least to me, music plays a huge part in my love for the game in a way that I didn’t totally see reflected in the movie’s soundtrack.

What if Mojang prepared a world tour of music shows with the game’s soundtrack? What tracks would you like to hear live in a concert hall?

Keep up your amazing work!

Best regards,

deadCrusader was impaled on a stalagmite, too distracted listening to “Infinite Amethyst”.

SUBJECT: Make The XP/Locator Bar Optional

Hey Jonny, and Joel!

Per the discussion on Episode 349 started by Mr Haleyon’s email, I have some thoughts to offer.

What if, instead of the game making the player have either the XP bar or the locator bar, it was an option left up to the player in the world settings menu when creating a new world? That way, as Joel stated, kids wouldn’t be at risk of being found if they didn’t want to be. Of course, there would have to be a warning or something for people joining public servers that have that feature activated.

But what about the locator bar in single player worlds? It would function the same as in multiplayer worlds, but instead of showing where other players were located, it tracked the location of “boss” mobs like the Warden, Wither, and Ender Dragon? It would help the player know their proximity to those dangerous mobs, and potentially better help them navigate while avoiding attacks.

Adam got lost while trying to find Jonny and Joel using the locator bar. Send help please.

SUBJECT: Quality Of Life Features

Hi Pix, and Joel!

In recent updates I have been enjoying the many quality of life changes that Mojang has been making, such as the ability to press the spacebar while in the crafting interface to refresh the last recipe used. However, I think there are still many features that could be added to make the game even better. The most notable of these for me would be the ability to shear vines to stop their growth, similar to glowberries.

What potential quality of life features would you guys like to see added to the game?

Finn was killed by a spider while collecting string to stop his vines from growing.

SUBJECT: Stunt Serum

Hi Pix, and Joel,

I recently showed my girlfriend around my Minecraft server, and found it funny seeing what she was interested in as she has never played the game before. I found it amusing that her main idea was a “Stunt Serum” that would keep the baby animals small. After hearing the email, and discussion on this topic in Episode 338 I thought I’d actually write in with the idea!

This could be a potion that is brewed, and could be used multiple times with a durability bar. It could also be used to “wax” crops, and plants in different stages of their growth. Let me know what your thoughts are!

Slippers died of cuteness because he was surrounded by so many baby animals.
