  • The Citadel | Westhill
    • Not all of the mods for The Citadel server have been updated to 1.21.5 as of yet. So, The Citadel is still on 1.21.4.
      • In some cases it’s a mod library holding back a few mods. Once those mod libraries update, the mods available for 1.21.5 should be quick to follow.
    • The Citadel will be updating to 1.21.5 as soon the essential mods for performance are all updated.
      • Client side, some performance mods help with a screen stutter performance issue when streaming.
      • Smaller quality of life mods that are also client side won’t hold up a server update as they can just be updated down the road whenever they are ready.

    • Went out to find all the new foliage additions in Spring To Life, and tried most of them out in the wheat field.
      • Firefly bushes are a great addition. Buried a few firefly bushes so the fireflies appear even during the day.
      • Dry grass is also great. It does definitely stand out from the default wheat texture.
      • Wildflowers work well where pink petals don’t make as much sense.
      • Leaf litter feels like it needs trees near by for context.

FROM: Cinqo
SUBJECT: A Ghastly Missed Opportunity Perhaps?

Howdy! Hope you are both having a great day!

The talk of the village is the happy ghast. I think the utility, and concept is great! (I’ve been waiting for a rideable flying mob for years.) That fact that you can stand on it as a moving platform is inspired. However I think it looks a bit… odd…

I know I’m not alone in thinking that the happy ghast looks almost modded. I’m wondering if it’s specifically because it is a ghast. Is it a good thing that Mojang seems to be adding depth, and hinting at lore to an existing mob like the ghast, or should they have used this opportunity to add another ancient mob like the sniffer?

I’d be also curious to hear your thoughts on if Mojang should continue this method for the future. To add depth to the world instead of expanding it.

Thank you!

Cinqo has made the advancement [one of these days] while continuing his search for more Minecraft ancient flora and fauna.

Thank you to our Patrons!
