- Old Potato Farm Renovation Continues.
- This week was all work on the paths around the farm, and throughout the crop fields.
- It’s a huge field, so it’s taking some time, and resources to add rooted dirt, packed mud, brown concrete powder, and some mangrove wood to the existing coarse dirt paths.
- Laying down texture with a bit of intent behind the block choices. Brown concrete powder in what could be spots that are a little muddy, or darker areas, rooted dirt in brighter areas, and mangrove around really rough spots, or especially wet, or heavily walked on.

- Very minimal gameplay time this week, but set a personal record for best Minecraft Bingo time by six minutes!
- Enjoying how Minecraft can be both something you’ll log in, and labour at for eight hours, or something you can pick up, and play a minigame in for thirty minutes at a time.

SUBJECT: Planting Detail
Hi Pix, and Joel!
I am working on a theme park in my creative world city. Things like the bush, wild flowers, and cactus flowers are all great details for me to work with. What other plants, small detail blocks or items would you like in the game?
Braxton got stuck in a bush after the roller coaster’s track went off course.

SUBJECT: Fireflies And Witches
Hey Jonny and Joel!
Hope you’re doing well!
Recently, one of the villagers in my trading hall turned into a witch, and I lost an important trade because there are no current ways of curing witches back to villagers.
What if there was?
Now that fireflies are technically in game, and are a part of the swamp biome, same as the witch hut, what if we could make a potion out of the firefly bush somehow, and use it to cure witches back to villagers?
I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
EvilShadoww got the advancement ‘Witch villager was that?’ for curing a witch.

SUBJECT: Beacon Update
Hey Joel and Jonny,
Since Minecraft has updated the beacon beam to be taller, and render farther in a recent snapshot, do you think now might be a good time to also give us a way to turn off the beacon’s light without losing the effects?
If you want multiple buffs in an area the sky becomes littered with beacon lights that can kill the mood of a build, and potentially bother your neighbours for miles.
Tinted glass above beacons would be a very easy way to implement this quality of life change.
Sage died from being blinded by all his beacons.

SUBJECT: Version Numbers
Now that Minecraft is updating much faster than they ever have, I would love to see them move to a three number version numbering convention that would look more like:
Major update -dot- minor update/drop update -dot- patch update
I know I have heard the two of you talk about how confusing it can be to sometimes have a bug fix or patch update come in, and affect where we thought a drop update would be “named”. This convention could also allow Mojang to go back, and patch prior drops for larger bugs like security issues without confusing what “drop” the original work was for.
I would love to hear your thoughts!
Donoraffe died to a bug that remained unpatched because no one at Mojang wanted to confuse the masses.
