      • As of the Winter Drop there will be ten wood types (excluding giant fungi), so you can store up to six of each sapling in a single bundle.
      • You can bundle enough workstations for an entire village. There are 13, so some will be hidden.
      • You can still store the unstackable items in the form of their crafting ingredients! Crafting on-the-fly may be a better way of using space than pre-crafting everything.

SUBJECT: Burnt Oak Wood

Hello Jonny and Joel,

We know that Mojang doesn’t want players to dye wood, in order to promote exploration. What if, instead of dying pale oak wood, we could smelt the pale oak planks in a furnace to get “burnt oak planks” which would be black in colour, and have the subsequent wood blocks like stairs, and slabs, etc.? This would also be in-line with the monochrome theme of the Pale Garden biome.

Alternatively, if a lightning strikes pale oak plank, it could also change into a burnt oak plank, creating a new block that changes its state using lightning.

This way, we have a method to get a black set of wood, and if we compare it to the real world, black wood is usually burnt wood.

This could be a fun way to introduce a new set of wood without a new tree.

There could also be an advancement for obtaining burnt oak planks called “Well this is oak-wood” (Awkward)

I would love to hear your thoughts on this!

SUBJECT: Bundle Improvement Suggestion

Hello Joel and Pix,

I was watching Pix’s Minecraft Survival Guide episode about the new bundles, and thought of an easy remedy to the frustration of only being able to retrieve the first twelve items in a bundle before having to remove other items to find what you’re actually looking for. Simply add the ability to continue scrolling after the twelfth item, causing the next row of items to move up, and the top row of items to disappear. It would essentially be like using your mouse wheel to scroll up and down in a document or website to see content above or below your screen. This seems like an easy, and elegant solution considering that the list already scrolls after you add a thirteenth item to the bundle, and the bottom row gets pushed down, and out of sight.

What are your thoughts?

The Jon B lived because he was able to quickly scroll to his notch apples on the third row of his bundle after being withered by a wither skeleton.

New Drop Content Rollout Confusion

As the new Minecraft “drop” development cycle rolls out, Joel, and Jonny ask if the overlapping content in the Java Edition snapshot, and Bedrock Preview schedule, along with Experimental Features, and working “Winter Drop” title is more confusing than it needs to be for the average Minecraft player.
