- Put in the time to customize the first section of the pumpkin patch.
- A combination of pumpkins, mangrove leaves, moss, moss carpet, single, and double-tall ferns, grass, and a last minute addition of vines that made all the difference.
- Plus, a handful of pumpkin mini blocks from the VanillaTweaks.net Wandering Trades data pack.
- Paths around the pumpkin patch are mostly coarse dirt with rooted dirt, and packed mud highlights.

- The Survival Guide is back! Chunks have been trimmed, and the world has been updated to Minecraft 1.21.
- With some interesting results from the regeneration of Minecraft terrain.
- Immediately after updating, the crafter was applied to three of the existing farms, then headed out to look for Trial Chambers.Easily found thanks to cartographers trading the Trial Explorer Map.

Hey Jonny, and Joel!
My player group, and I haven’t kept up with the 1.21 update at all. After I cleared the unused chunks (on our server) in MCA Selector, we looked up what depth the new Trial Chambers would spawn at, and started digging.
Boy oh boy were we amazed! This is exactly the PvE experience we’ve been looking for; the Breeze is now my favorite hostile mob, armored skeletons are a menace, and the slime spawners are extremely welcome. My jaw literally dropped when I saw all the slime!
Thank you to Mojang for this awesome update! I can’t wait to explore more of it, not to mention all the cool looking copper blocks!
GundarHStriker tried to dance with the skeletons, and got impaled by sixteen arrows!?

SUBJECT: Forced Building Palettes
Hallo Jonny, and Joel,
Now that 1.21 is out, I’ve noticed a change in the blocks being used with tuff. Before the update players used mossy stone, and acacia wood with tuff, but now that tuff has a block family, I’ve seen players (including myself) subconsciously limiting themselves to only the tuff family of blocks.
What are your thoughts?
JLad was blown up by a creeper while sorting his tuff chests.

Exploring The Many Chambers Of Tricky Trials
Minecraft Tricky Trials is here! Joel, and Jonny share their initial thoughts on the update, and what that means for their gameplay going forward. On The Citadel, Joel is waiting for more mods, and data packs to catch up to Minecraft 1.21 before updating. With a lot of game features now data-driven behind the scenes, it could be a bit of a wait for some favourite data packs to be up to speed. Jonny shares his experiences integrating the crafter into a few existing farms on The Minecraft Survival Guide world, as well as the first raid of a Trial Chamber. Looking ahead, what strategies, and systems will players implement to get the most out of Tricky Trials? New features are plentiful, and accessible, but new additions like Trial Chambers and the crafter, have a high ceiling of play, and mastery.
