SUBJECT: Why Is Swimming So Tuff?

G,day Joel, and Pix!

In regards to all the new updates coming from 1.21 next week, there seems to be a large focus around mobility with the wind charge, and the mace. As a Bedrock player on console, I don’t have the luxury of movement underwater with an elytra, and rockets like Java players do. Would either of you find it to be a useful update to add an enchantment to your boots that would allow you to swim faster? Much like dolphins grace without having to lug around the watery mammals. This enchantment could be mutually exclusive, not being able to pair with boots that have the depth strider enchantment. Curious to hear your thoughts!

Cheers!

WakeJilliams died from exhaustion thanks to his netherite boots weighing him down.

SUBJECT: No-Damage Firework Stars

Hi Pix and Joel!

What are your thoughts on having an option to have custom fireworks deal no damage to the player? They could deal no damage by default, or have damage affected by either adding something to the recipe to make them deal damage, or by adding wool or something similar to make them harmless.

I think it would be interesting to see people fly with more fancy fireworks!

Daniel went off with a bang because he forgot to add wool to the firework recipe.

PS:
This idea is from KirbyNumber1 on Reddit. The wool is their idea as well. I’m sharing it with you with their permission, as they would also like to hear your thoughts.

Thank you to our Patrons!

Trails & Tales Retrospective

Jonny, and Joel take a look back over the new features added to Minecraft in the Trails & Tales update, putting a cherry on top of their favourites, making note of those yet to be explored, and discussing the features that perhaps just weren’t their cup of tea, while also being unable to get over the hump of disappointment in others.
