- This week was spent adding the foliage details to the retaining wall, and front garden tiers of the lilac farmstead. Time consuming, but a satisfying look when complete.
- I sometimes it’s more challenging to fill in a natural looking empty space, than it is to add details to a manicured garden, or rows of farmland.

- The task of keeping a rabbit alive while digging a hole to bedrock, predictably failed.
- Fortunately, two fate coins were earned in a ‘Mob Head Hunt’ event, in which Warden heads were prized above all others.

SUBJECT: Better Wolf AI
Hello Joel, and Jonny!
I am very excited for the new Wolves in 1.20.5, and have been waiting for this for practically a decade as a long term Java player. While I love the new variants and armor, I wish the wolf AI had been updated as well.
A couple changes I think could be added are a faster pace for wolves to keep up with the player, following their initial path through landscapes, and caves. Doing so would decrease the chances of a wolf getting lost or left behind when exploring, and keep them from teleporting to an inconvenient spot. Packs of wolves could either be in a single file line or more of a formation, but still wander in the area if the player is still, or in a small space.
Wolves attacking mobs could be more decisive, not focusing on mobs currently attacking the player but rather focused on another nearby mob, or a mob fleeing with low health. This would add a bit more convenience, and stability in keeping a wolf with you for protection, and security. It would also keep a Wolf from getting in the way of combat and accidentally killing them. This could be applied to traversal as well, like pushing a wolf off a cliff or into a cave.
I’m sure these implications could be difficult to program into Minecraft, but let me know what you guys think, and what could be changed or improved on!
I’m still new to the podcast, and loving the takes you guys have on the game!
Thank you guys!!

SUBJECT: Minecraft Utility Belt
Hi Pix and Joel!
I was listening to Episode 283 where you were talking about the potential benefits of having a second hotbar added to the inventory, accessible through the ALT key. I thought it would be cool if you could craft a utility belt with shulker shells, and some other ingredients like string and leather. This utility belt could then be worn instead of leggings or combined with leggings in an anvil, and would give the player access to this second hotbar while wearing it. It could have an interface similar to that of a bundle through which the player could organize and edit the extra hotbar. This could also allow individual utility belts to have their own unique hotbars assigned to them.
Curious to hear your thoughts!
Finn died of frustration because he had to constantly switch out the blocks on his hotbar while building his mansion.

Tricky Trials New Paintings
Mojang is adding twenty new paintings to Minecraft in Tricky Trials. Five paintings by artist Sarah Boeing, and fifteen paintings by artist Kristoffer Zetterstrand. Joel, and Jonny talk about the significance of some of the paintings, explore their real-world counterparts, share their favourites, and discuss the possibilities that the new paintings, and the new technical changes to how paintings function in Minecraft could benefit gameplay.
