  • The Citadel, Westhill, The East Road Graveyard
    • The crypt under the east road graveyard is complete!
      • Walls are textured with cracked, and cobbled deepslate.
      • Floors are textured with cracked stone bricks, stone, andesite, cobblestone and gravel.
      • Special spruce wood textured trap chests are turned backwards to look more like coffins.
      • The final lighting with soul lanterns is just bright enough to prevent any uninvited guests, while still making sure it’s easy to see around the chests.

  • The Minecraft Survival Guide, Season 3
    • Rescued six allays from a burning Woodland Mansion, and eight more in a slightly more relaxed fashion from a perfectly intact building which was not at all on fire.
      • Next is working on a place to store them all, as having fourteen item fairies all tied to a fence post doesn’t give off the best first impression.
      • The hope is to load the allays into boats, two at a time, and store them in a sort of fairy-boat Pez dispenser.

SUBJECT: Tuff And Copper

Hi Jonny, and Joel,

Since we saw copper, and tuff blocks will be getting new variations in Minecraft 1.21 I was wondering if we might also get the copper, and the tuff golems in the update as well. Both types of material had a golem in previous mob votes, and both would fit quite nicely into the tinkering theme of the update.

It would also make sense for Mojang to bring back mobs that were part of a previous mob vote to remind players that there is always a possibility to bring a mob into Minecraft that didn’t win a mob vote.

Trollfaust was blown up by a creeper while tinkering around with the crafter to make a Vanilla ME-System.

SUBJECT: Is Autocrafting Overpowered?

Hello there Joel, and Pix

I watched the Minecraft 1.21 reveal today (Sunday), and I’m so excited for most of what was shown. New tuff blocks, new copper blocks, and automatic crafting. All very exciting! Autocrafting especially sounds like it’s going to be a huge hit in the redstone community, not only as a challenge to build machines to automatically craft stuff, but it also means crafting dispensers will be far easier now. I’m sure Cubfan is going to have a blast using this to make cakes!

However, I’m surprised at how easy the system seems to use, mostly in that it costs the player nothing more than the time it would take to manually craft the items themselves. Maybe the crafting recipe for the block will account for it, but I’m surprised Mojang didn’t make it require some sort of fuel to power it.

Do you guys think the crafter is a little too powerful the way it is? I highly doubt Mojang will add on some sort of cost now since that would likely cause a lot of frustration among players who base their expectations on the information given during the Minecraft Live stream.

Kokorodaki pulled the wrong lever and was shot by the dispenser he’d just autocrafted. Whoops.
