SUBJECT: Downgrade Armour For Upgraded Aesthetics

Hello Spawn Chunks!

Big fan here. The recent Minecraft Java snapshot introduced the ability to cosmetically ‘trim’ armour, to personalize it. Some players may like the aesthetics of gold armour with an amythest trim, or iron armour with a gold trim more than standard netherite armour. So, just because different sets of armour trims look better than the durable, and fire-proof Netherite armour, are players willing to downgrade the quality of their armour for more pleasing aesthetics?

Considering that most of the playerbase already wear some gold armour, and some leather armour after updates 1.16, and 1.18, ‘downgrading’ armour might be a viable option for them.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Armor Trim & Aesthetic Upgrades

With eleven new armor trim templates, and ten different colour variations giving players over six hundred ways to customize their in Minecraft, Joel, and MythicalSausage ask the natural questions… Are there “too many” armor trim template and colour combinations to choose from? Does the challenge to find, and the loot table percentage for armor templates to drop warrant the effort to seek them out? And of course… What could be customized next?
