SUBJECT: Is 20W45A Too Early?

Hey Pix and Joel,

I’ve been playing around with all the new stuff in the snapshot, and don’t get me wrong, it is really cool! I will always welcome new content for me and my friends to play around with.

I was thinking about the timing of this snapshot. Did Mojang jump the gun in the excitement to show us what they’ve been working on and to start getting community feedback? We are only one month from Minecraft Live, and we are already getting a boatload of exciting new content. If Mojang keeps with the Wednesday updates from 1.16, they will have around 27 more snapshots before we reach Spring of 2021. Do they have enough content to do something new every snapshot? I don’t think so. Can they spread out the new content in a way that will keep the hype up in the community? We’ll have to wait and see. The community has gotten used to having to say “this snapshot was mostly bug fixes”, but you can tell we don’t like to say that. So what do you think? Was this too early? Can Mojang drip out content at a rate that will satisfy the hungry community? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

A fellow spe-chunk-er,
